Ordering Information
You've used the Internet Catalog to browse the NSN components we offer. The following information is intended to help answer some general questions you may have regarding our company, manufacturing capacity and engineering services.
I am ready to place an order. How do I do this?
Use whatever method is most convenient for you. We accept orders via fax, e-mail, and (soon) via this web site. You do not need to use government NSN numbers to order. In some cases, customer's only need a component from an assembly. In such cases, if you a drawing with a part number and the drawing spells-out material and processing standards, we can produce the item. After you place your order, we always send you an acknowledgement (via fax or e-mail) and a anticipated delivery date if different from the original quoted delivery schedule.
How do I place my first order on the internet?
You do not need to sign in or register to place orders on the internet. Just email  us with your PO number, contact information, shipping and billing addresses the first time you order and we will save the information for future orders. (Of course, don't forget to tell us what you want and the quantity (and yes, this has happened).
What are your business and Will Call hours?
We take RFQ's and orders on-line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or call us direct during the following hours:

M-F 09:00AM (EST) to 3:00PM (EST).

I could not find exactly what I needed in the NSN Catalog. Can you help me?
We can help you find the product you need. Fax (614-540-7442) or e-mail us with the part number, description and drawing of the item, or give us a call at 614-376-4222. (Again, don't forget to tell us how many and how soon you need the item or items.)
How will my order be shipped?
Most orders are shipped FOB Origin with shipping charges collect or prepaid (using your UPS account) and by standard ground. More than 90% of the products ordered are shipped this method. We can use many different carriers in order to provide you with fast deliveries, but if you need a special delivery or specific carrier, just let us know and in your PO, identify the carrier, account to use or how you want us to charge the shipping cost. Some of the most frequently requested carriers are listed on our "request for quote" form; if you wish to use a carrier not listed, just click on "Other" in the "Shipping Methods" box on the RFQ form.
Do you ship orders outside the United States?
We ship our products throughout the world using air and ocean transportation services. Again, refer to the previous question and answer.
Do you accept small orders?
Yes! We do not have order minimums and have in the past shipped a $2.50 part overnight to a customer.
Can I purchase material from you without being charged tax?
Because we do not sell items to consumers, we do not charge sales tax. If your tax status varies, you can let us know when you place your order.
Can I return an item?
As all of our items are manufactured for a specific use or application, we do not accept returns. If the item is defective, we will repair, modify or replace the item at no cost to you.
What if I need product drawing, certs, or processing standards?
Call, fax, or e-mail us to let us know what kind of information you need. As our quality system is based on a modified ISO 9002 standard, we maintain records of inspection reports, material certs, processing and manufacturing data records. We also maintain some Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) for special process materials and the information is available on request for all products classified as hazardous by OSHA and used in producing an item. Additionally, .c4, PDF and .dwg technical drawings are available for most of the NSN's listed on our web site.
What if I need additional information about an order I already placed?
You can send us an e-mail if you need a copy of your invoice, a proof of delivery, or other shipment information. Once you place an order, your order will be assigned a job number. Use this number when referencing or requesting information pertaining to you PO.
